SPIRITUALITY OF THE INSTITUTE
FRANCISCAN SISTERS OF TRANSFIGURATION
The Spirituality followed by the Franciscan Sisters of the Transfiguration Institute is that which is properly Franciscan because the Mother Founder Chiara Biagiotti together with the first Consorelle since the foundation (1898) chose the habit and the Rule of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis of Assisi.
It is a Christocentric spirituality: following Christ in the full acceptance of the Gospel. Life focused on contemplation and action, according to the style of St. Francis, privileging the Franciscan characteristics: fraternity, minority and joy.
